We’ve got a passion inside us to bring the benefits of mindfulness to everyone. There are so many known and scientifically proven benefits–and ones that simply makes us feel really, really good. We exist because we imagine a different world. A more mindful world. A world where access to all the inner technologies is made available to every child, parent, teacher, and school across the globe so our future generations can lead the way.
A world where we honor our inwards journey as much as the outer experience of life. A world where our mental health is loved, nurtured, respected, supported and honored as the precious gift it is. A world where a CEO and a first grader speak the same language of mindfulness, empathy, gratitude, and resilience as a good way forward.
Right now across the globe, there’s a growing group of leading influencers, activators, initiators, connectors, communicators, change makers, experts, and artists, collaborating without competition, to find the simplest solutions to build a more mindful world.
Just wanted to let you know of a few upcoming events.
First, GIFT will be hosting two all-day mindfulness retreats in June. The first is on Tuesday, June 5th and will be held in the Springer Building on the main campus of DE Psychiatric Center. It’s a great facility, with lots of space for us to use. The event runs from 9 am to 4 pm and will be facilitated by Dr. Jenna Tedesco.
The second all-day event will be held on Thursday, June 7 at the Greater Milford Boys & Girls Club from 9 am to 4 pm. The facilitator that day is yet to be determined.
GIFT will also conduct three half day sessions, our MBWE Introduction program, on the following dates and places:

FINALLY, our good friends at the Mental Health Association of Delaware are hosting a special event on May 19 at Rockford Park in Wilmington at 10 am. “Meditate for a Vet” is being presented by a group called “Vetitation” and promises to offer information about the science behind meditation and how it is being used to help veterans with PTSD. The fee for this event is $30, which includes a free yoga mat for every registrant. More information can be found on the MHAD website at http://mhainde.org/wp/
